Yet  another  case of asking permission. This was at a  local 
air show, and a military society had a stand.


This man was dressed,  and equipped, as an American special
forces soldier in Vietnam.  He was very pleased to pose,  and I
took  his address and sent him a few prints. You should always do
this -  it makes the next photographers job easier.


The problem was the background,  as there were hundreds of 
people about. We chose to use the side of the tent that they had
erected. If necessary,  or if really worth it,  people may well
be prepared to meet you at a suitable location to shoot with more
satisfactory backgrounds.
